FIRST EDITION of a rare work, whose title-page features THE EARLIEST WOODCUT OF A VERTICAL LIBRARY with books standing on tail-edges, fore-edges outward, attributed to the Meister der Zackenblätter.

4to (186 x 143 mm). Gothic type, 35 lines. collation: A-H4: 32 leaves. Title-page with large woodcut illustration, woodcut arms of Zwickau on A2v, a few marginal annotations in a sixteenth-century hand.
