This painting depicts an amalgamated scene of milky flesh amidst mid-apocalyptic chaos. Through the smoke and rubble emerge moments of clarity; a truncated female figure, and suggestions of flora and fauna, broken machinery, and tumbledown cities all crowd the canvas. The soft, clouded yellows exude a lightness and sense of hope in contrast to the tumultuous surroundings.
