Twins Seven-Seven is the best-known of the Osogbo School artists, having met Ulli Beier and Georgina Beier when he crashed Michael Crowder's leaving party at the Mbari Mbayo Club in September 1963.
"The name he invented for himself is perhaps as bizarre as the clothes he designs and the pictures he paints... Seven-Seven is an artist of unlimited imagination. In his world everything is possible, many things are worrying, but most things are simply exciting."
