of upright rectangular shape with rounded sides, plain gold stepped footrim and top border, elaborate diaper-pattern engine-turned sides, inscribed: Dunhill in Gothic script, maker's mark, the base also struck 'Pat. no. 390107 / made in England', further struck 9 and 375 for 9 ct gold
